The Website is maintained for informational purposes only.  All content on the Website constitutes general information relating to areas of law familiar to Lighthouse Legal’s paralegals.

The Website is not designed to answer questions about specific situations or individual matters. The information provided on the Website is not legal advice or a substitute for legal advice. 

Although Lighthouse Legal Services has made reasonable efforts to ensure that the information contained on the Website is accurate, it does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the information, that the Website will be available without interruption, error or omission, that any defects will be corrected, or that the website and the server that make it available are free from viruses or harmful components.

Contacting Lighthouse Legal Services or its managing paralegal through the Website or the contact information provided therein does not create a paralegal-client relationship.  No paralegal-client relationship is formed with any individual or organization until Lighthouse Legal Services or its managing paralegal agrees to act for that individual or organization.  This agreement will be confirmed in a retainer agreement, in accordance with our policies.

Until Lighthouse Legal Services or its managing paralegal specifically agree to act for you on a matter, you should not provide Lighthouse Legal Services with any unsolicited confidential information or material. Unsolicited information and material will not be treated as confidential and will not be protected by any paralegal-client privilege.


Lighthouse Legal Services and its managing paralegal will have no liability for any damages arising from the use of any information provided on the Website.  The information on the website is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.  Any reliance on the information on the Website without seeking legal advice from a paralegal or lawyer shall constitute a misuse of the information.

The only Personal Information Lighthouse Legal Services collects on the Website is the information voluntarily supplied by the user if the user contacts Lighthouse Legal Services through the Website.  Lighthouse Legal Services may use the information collected in this manner to respond to your inquiries, contact you or provide you with e-mails or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
